British Dental Journal prize for the best poster in practice-based research and evidence-based dentistry
British Dental Journal prize for the best poster in practice-based research and evidence-based dentistry at next week’s IADR meeting in Seattle. The award (of certificate, US$400/£250 plus an online personal subscription to the BDJ for one year) will be presented to the winner at the BDJ Booth #514 at the IADR Exhibition at 3:15 pm on Friday, March 22nd 2013. The posters will be judged in Seattle by the BDJ Editor-in-Chief, Dr Stephen Hancocks.
During the session the BDJ team will visit the posters and supply stickers to indicate that each poster has been nominated for the award. When the winner is chosen, the BDJ will visit the winner’s poster again during the session to inform them and the poster will be clearly marked with a ‘winner’ sticker. The prize winner will also be announced over the public address system. We would be grateful if the winner could come to the BDJ Booth at 3.15 pm to receive their prize if possible. All nominees are also welcome to visit the booth at this time or at any point during the conference.
The goal of evidence-based dentistry (EBD) is to promote the use of best evidence in clinical dentistry.
The EBD Network of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) is dedicated to the promotion of the principles and practice of EBD.
